The low Floor buses started to primer in the 90's and have been quite attractive to most Transit Agencies as they offer easier boarding for passengers as well as easier boarding for wheelchair passengers as a lift is not required for boarding. A ramp is lifted from the floor and the wheel chair passengers can easily board via the ramp.
The Low Floor buses are becoming more & more popular as alot of Transit Agencies are purchasing these type of buses to replace their aged fleet.
Some low floor buses also run on natural gas (CNG) or battery. Our low floor model bus features a CNG tank on the roof.
